Dr. Barbara Knox is credentialed at Wolfson Children’s Hospital and UF Shands Hospital, where she actively sees inpatients, works with inpatient hospitalist teams, and sees outpatients.
Dr. Barbara Knox has worked in numerous settings in prior assignments, and she recognizes the importance of being a team player. During her career, including working as a child abuse pediatrician, she also worked in pediatric hospital medicine and newborn nursery hospital medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health
Prior to this, Dr. Barbara worked in the fast-track ER at a large urban inner-city program. The combination of these documented skills and experiences enables me to address quality assurance, quality improvement, cost containment, and clinical excellence issues in pediatric hospitalist medicine

Her research continues to shape how healthcare professionals approach complex pediatric cases, and her leadership has strengthened child protection systems at local and national levels.
